Thursday evening, November 14 we keep an information evening in the Blokhut about car sharing in the Iris neighbourhood. This is linked to our action for trying out car sharing. As reported earlier in this blog: we challenge everyone in the Iris neighbourhood to leave their own car for 3 months and join us in sharing cars.

An ‘car-sharing group’ has been active in the Irisbuurt for over a year, they call themselves Iris Elektrick. They now share 2 older cars with 7 home addresses and a total of 9 drivers.
This helps to reduce the parking problem, to keep car use affordable, to protect the climate and to strengthen the ‘social cement’ in the neighbourhood.
It is time for this kind of car use to be available to all neighbours. Iris Elektrick is happy to help you achieve that. They have built up a wealth of experience that we can all benefit from.
